Updates Apr 22 2010 I can't believe it's been a whole year since my last update! Wow! Before any more time slips away, let me tell you about two of the songs that I have added to my website. The first, was written by a good friend of mine, Teri Garritson. She had never written a song before, but with my encouragement, she wrote a beautiful song for the 2010 Young Women's theme. It's called, Be Strong and of Good Courage. It's a beautiful song. Our young women sang it and loved it. She has allowed me to share her music on my website. The second is a choral (SATB) arrangement of the hymn/primary song Dare to Do Right. I had a lot of fun writing it. It's simple, fun, but challenging at the same time. Hopefully you'll like it. And just so you don't think I've been slacking, (LOL!) I'll let you know what I've been working on the last year. I finished writing a musical called, "We Are Sisters". It's about Visiting Teaching and was performed for the first time at a Visiting Teaching Conference in my mother's ward (I wrote it at her request). It was an amazing experience to write it and see it performed. It was definitely an inspired experience, and I'm grateful to have had that opportunity. I'm excited to get the final copy done, so I can share it with you! I'm also working on a new website update, and still have great plans for the listening room. Thanks for your patience! May 13 2009 This month I wrote a new song called "Story of Faith". It includes 3 stories of pioneers and their stories of faith and sacrifice in building a temple for the Lord. Enjoy the music! Lindy Kerby Apr 15 2009 Just a real quick note to let you know that I have added a new song to the website. It's a song that I wrote for a young women's camp song, but could also be used for Relief Society or Young Women. It's called, What He Sees. I've also included a basic recording of the song so that you can know how it goes. Feb 19 2009 It's a brand new year, and I have a brand new baby boy, Tyler. He's about a month old, and doing really well. In celebration of his birth, I have added a new piano song to my website called, Bundle of Joy". For this song, there is free sheet music, as well as a youtube video that you can watch and enjoy. The video features me playing the song, as well as clips of my baby and family. In addition, I made a recording of "As One Sister", which is also on the site. Enjoy the music! Nov 23 2008 Just a quick note, to let you know that I created my first podcast. I was invited to be a guest artist on my good friend Jennifer Griffiths website called, "A Song and a Prayer". The podcast is about 7 minutes long, and includes an inspirational song that I wrote and sing called, "My Love Grows".
